Dump Station in PA
Having a lovely month-long RV stay in our in-laws driveway, and we even have 50 amp hook up! The problem is dumping… All the RV parks are closed for the season in the surrounding areas, and we’re having a hard time finding dump stations. We’re heading to a camping world that’s about an hour away, but I’m wondering if anybody knows of any dump stations in the Lehigh Valley (Allentown, PA).
Also…Do city government sewage orgs have public dumping centers? Calling Allentown tomorrow to check this one.

Call before heading out. Many locations must close the dump stations in the off season due to minimal use. What happens in the liquids outrun the solids That is normal, but out of season there isn’t a steady steam of dumping to move those solids along. The tissue paper and other solids eventually dry out and become as hard as concrete and a clogged sewer line results.
The best preventative measure is to liberally flush the system with water at the end of the season and not allow dumping till the next season.
As for your situation, you should consider a macerator system and you could then pump the waste into your in-laws sewer clean out our even a toilet.

I spent six weeks in a friend's driveway between selling our house and moving into the next house. I used a FloJet macerator, 150' of 3/4" garden hose and dumped black and grey water every 3-5 days (two people living in the camper). We ran the hose back to a city sewer cleanout in the back yard and the pump went flawlessly 150' with a 4 foot rise. Very clean process, worked like a charm.
LINK TO PUMP I USED It is not the cheapest by a long shot but I am familiar with the quality of FloJet pumps in other applications. I figured with what I was doing I wanted less possibility of failure.

I have been using a $60 macerator I bought off Amazon and 100 ft of 3/4 hose. It is all level so no uphill pumping. I dropped a set of heavy jumper cables down from my house batteries under the rv and hook the alligator clips from to pump to the jumper cables. I was afraid to try using any of the 12volt sources that were near the wet because of amp drop with the smaller wires. I have put my hand on the pump motor several times and it doesn't get warm.

This is why camping in extreme temperatures has its challenges.
Keeping water from freezing anywhere onboard your RV is only part of it.
Getting rid of water/waste is another.
Wherever you are, scope out rural areas that have home properties on well and septic. There are companies that pump out properties all year long if the need arises. Contact them to see if they’ll let you empty your waste in the facilities. Septic cleaning trucks have to empty their tanks somewhere.
