Durango/Silverton train running?

Anyone heard whether or not the Durango Silverton train is running this summer? I heard it wasn't but don't know if that is just on week-days. No use trying for RV reservations at either end if not running. And how is Silverton handling this?
Usually go every summer but due to pandemic haven't so far this summer.

Sometimes it's best to go directly to the source for up-to-date accurate information.

The Durango/Silverton train had resumed service and then shut down again due to a bridge washout. Estimate is 8-16 weeks. I think part of the route is operational. Best to check with the train company.

Not been a good couple years for the train.

We were there two weeks ago. The Durango to Silverton is not running because of track washout and yes, 8-16 weeks is the estimate to repair - once they come up with a plan to repair. There are trains running (twice a day) from Rockwood to Cascade Canyon (and back), about a two hour trip (total). Rockwood is about 20 miles north of Durango so it is not ideal that way but it was a scenic trip via Steam train (diesel is available also). As far as I know, that is the only train running as of now. Steve
