DH & I bought EG250's last year. They fold easily so we can carry them either in the back of the CRV or in a bay. Added the comfort seat & the rear pouches. The battery is contained inside the frame, unlike other bikes where it's exposed under the seat. We just love them. We've gone 26mi RT on the low assist setting & still had 1/4 battery left.

My wife and I have Evelo bikes. Very high tech and comfortable. I also added FatWheels for her as she has had her left knee replaced twice and also has three pins in her hip. Falling is not an option!

Evelo bikes are sold online and their service and support is exceptional. I have no affiliation but give them a look at Best Electric Bikes with Free Shipping & At Home Trial! - EVELO.

Looks like the RadMini might be the bikes for us. The price point is right @ $1,499 , they are 48 volt, have a 750 watt motor and they come with front and rear racks. Plus they have fat tires which will add some stability.
They are folding bikes but based on the measurements the salesman gave me they won't fit in the basement of our rig.
Still looking but the RadMini the current front runner.

A friend as a pair of something that they no longer use but they were great at campgrounds.

Had standard gel cell type batteries.

Looking to possibly sell them.

Others may be in similar spot and have used ones available.

Good thought , I did look in my area ( Craigslist ) but didn't see anything in the way of decent used E bikes.
To be honest I would rather buy new . Technology improves each year and replacement batteries can get expensive.
Plus I like the idea of a warranty .

Nice bike. Look to the bike itself for what brakes and shifters. At the price point they should be good. For me the regular mountain bike size tires at 26" are better for all around riding. The fat tires take more power to use. We use a Swag Man heavy duty hitch mount on the toad or if just the bikes go, on the RV. Racks and such are cheap, concentrate on the bike. Shocks on the front and seat help on old butts. If you can ride before purchase, this really tells a story. Gel Cell are old track and heavy, and don't hold near the energy.

Well I searched around where I live and couldn't find a similar electric bike for my wife demo.
I also discovered that Rad Power Bikes has a special going right now. If you buy two bikes they will give you $200.00 off.
So I made a deal with them and purchased one with the guarantee that if my wife likes the bike I will get the $200.00 off the second bike.
Free shipping and I should see it in a week or so.
Watch a few you tube videos reviewing the bike and it looks like a ton of fun to ride.
They will be great to have at Fort Wilderness and up at Cape Cod.

We bought two GB500's from greenbikeusa.com, we have been pleased with them but have not taken any long rides. They fit underneath in the MH taking up half of one of the basement slides. They also fit in the back our or toad a Ford C-Max. If you buy from them give them a call, they offered a discount when I purchased two of them.

I checked with the owner of Day6 and he sent me this

response..

I can say without a doubt that our prices are significantly lower than our competitors when you compare motor size, battery amp hours, and the extras you get on a Day 6. Just attended an ebike show in Chicago a few weeks ago and we pretty much blew away everything there.

Make sure you guys are checking apple to apples and I can tell you these are great bikes..

We've been pleased with ours. Powerful, nimble, & utilitarian enough.

Loaded with travel cover off. Ea. bike folded is approx. 36"Wx24"Dx30"H
