Electric Bikes

We were thinking about purchasing a foldable electric (battery powered)bike for when we are in campgrounds that are large. They sound like fun and you can still get some exercise by dialing in pedal assist. Has anyone tried this and did you like it? We would love to hear about your experiences with one. Thanks for any response.

We purchased folding ebikes a few years ago and love them. We take them every chance we get. Carry them in the back of the Jeep. Many places we have been have bike trails we can ride on.

We bought a couple Rad Minis a couple years ago and there great. i had to modify the seat post on the wifes, she's short to the ground. now it works good for her. the Rad bikes are very hi quality and fold up into a small unit. only down side i have is the weight, they are a little heavy about 70# i think. they have a regulated speed of about 25mph and a range of around 25-30 miles varies on how much you assist by peddling.
