electric driver side shade

my shade came down half way and stopped the motor works .any help

Was the ignition key "ON"? If so, that would be a programing feature to limit how low the shades can go down when the key is on.

If the key was off then there is a need to reprogram the stops. As an example, MCD requires programing motorized shades in the cockpit area to establish both key on and key off stops.

I wonder if his shades have programmable stops?

Mine don't. When one of mine acted that way it was a stripped gear.
