Electricity in Storage

I see storage facilities with what appear to be regular 120 outlets. What is the purpose? Is this for refrigerator? If so, how do I run that power to the fridge?

Thanks!

Probably for folks who want to plug in a battery minder.

When you store your coach there, is there an extra cost for the power ?
Seems like "storing" a coach means turning everything off and buttoning her up tight, for a long sleep.
When I do that, I just turn off everything with the 'salesman" switches.

Check with the management. You could run your 30 or 50 amp cord with adapters and keep your batteries charged with the onboard charger. But some storage yards want a light duty cord and a battery maintainer in the compartment.

The Pace Arrow can probably manage the 20 amp 120 volt shore power using system settings or automatically. Use a shore power adapter to plug the 50 amp cord into the 20 amp outlet.

The shut off switch near the entry door will disconnect many 12 volt devices, but not all. The 20 amp outlet can usually supply enough power for the remaining devices without draining the batteries.

The shut-off may or may not disconnect on-board charging. Verify by measuring battery terminal voltage. On-board charger should maintain at least 13.2 volts at the terminals. Terminal voltage should drop below 13.0 volts after about 4 hours of rest if on-board charger is not maintaining 13.2 volts.

Fully recharge for 14 hours before terminal voltage drops below 12.4 volts for storage.

Use a battery maintainer if shut off-switch disconnects on-board charging.

I wish you good luck and happy trails ahead!

It really depends on the facility, some of them don't provide power to the outlets 24x7, some do, some are on shared breakers, some are not.
