On our way back from the Outer Banks, we stopped in Delaware for the night. We were awakened at 2:30 by a high pitched whining, then a series of clunks. I run out with flashlight in hand and find that the tongue jack had mysteriously retracted. It was totally dead, the light wouldn't even work. Well, I called Atlanta DTH in GA and spoke to their service guy Rich. THe jack is 2 years old and out of warranty I started and told him what happened. I asked if it was repairable or if I had to purchase a new one. Well, Rich not only told me it was a relay board that could be replaced, but that he would send me one right away, no charge. WHAT? Quite surprised and very happy, I told him that many would here about this great gesture. 1 year out of warranty, a no charge replacement part and a friendly person on the other end of the phone. You don't get that kind of service any more. Kudos! My hats off to Atlanta DTH ( http://www.adth.com/RV.htm )for having excellent customer service AND an excellent service person, Rich.

Thanks for sharing this experience with us, unfortunately it's rare these days to receive such courteous and efficient service, especially from an OEM supplier in the RV industry. Most will not even take a call from a consumer, instead referring the problem to their dealership network or a distributer.

I took a look at the website you linked and saw that Atlanta DTH, Inc. was established in 1993 and claims to provide a complete product line of DTH satellite equipment such as IRD and LNBF, as well as customer-driven satellite network services and customer management systems.

Their RV division specializes in RV satellite tracking equipment, heavy-duty RV jacks, and rear observation systems.

They go on to claim that they strive to meet every need of their corporate buyers, distributors and dealers and that their engineering team has customer engineered many products to their specific needs.

They truly seem to be a compliment to the RV industry as indicated by the way you were treated. Again, thanks for letting all of us know about them.
