Thanks for emphasizing this issue. OTR truckers lead a difficult life, and have very few options for a mandatory break or stop. Now they are even more pressed with the new law requiring electronic log books and monitoring.
We RVers must respect their situation and act accordingly. We are enjoying spending our money, they are trying to make a living.

I would never park overnight at a truck stop!

I parked overnight at a TA truck stop in Arkansas. Late in the evening, and I was exhausted. (Diabetes; don't have the stamina I used to.)

I asked the folks inside if I could park somewhere in their lot for the night. They guided me to their employee lot, and gave me a block of spaces that was level. That was one of the best night's sleep I've had.

In addition to filling my fuel tank, I bought stuff for supper and for breakfast the next morning.

Now, whenever I pass that way, I stop for fuel. I also patronize TA truckstops whenever I can. I appreciate the help I got that night!

I will stop at truck stops for overnight rest but only after calling the manager and asking if they have any RV restrictions.
