Expert advice needed

Hi,
My friend asked me whether he can drive a sprinter van with a car license. Is it possible by any means? Or is it against the law? He also shared me an article(Can You Drive A Sprinter Van With A Car Licence? | Truck Loan Center) in which it's written. He is living in canada and he is having a sprinter van. But when read it, I was also in a confused state. Can someone help me with your suggestions?
Thanks in advance

As the article clearly states, IF the Sprinter is equipped as a small bus, with over 10 seats, and is being USED as a BUS, yes, you require a bus license, you will need to stop for all railway crossings, etc.

If the Sprinter is an RV or cargo van, or even a people-mover but just for your own use, no special license is required.
