Initial plus last name. "That's my name, don't wear it out!"

(Should one ever quote Pee-wee Herman?)

Bermuda, at the apex of the Bermuda Triangle really is my home. Our travelling habits are never set in stone. We tend to drift around abit.

When we retired and started RVing more we told ourselves we would slow down our travels and take more 2 lane roads.
My handle on the waterskiing forum is Seymour Flatwater and on the BBQ forum it's Seymour Smoke.
Regards, Mike

Very creative.

My name LETMGROW came about in 2001 when 110 acres of land directly behind my house came up for sale and I bought it.
Being hunters and my son and I had been hunting and maintaining this land for the previous owner for quite a few years we decided to go with a plan where we wouldn't shoot a Whitetail Buck with less than 8 points and at least 3 1/2 years old. We work all spring and summer growing food plots as well as I have a farmer who leases some of this land to grow crops on. I am also registered as a farm.
We discussed the philosophy of letting the smaller bucks go so they could grow and using the first initial of my first, middle and last name I had LET then I added the letter M which is my son's first initial. The GROW is what we want the younger bucks to do. Hence: LETMGROW.
In 2009 I added 100 acres of land to my farm directly across the road from my home. My son has built a house next door to mine so he's always available to help but I seldom ever have to ask. If I have one of my tractors missing I know where he is.

After retiring and having bought our first motorhome, I used DeLorme Street Atlas as a gps on my laptop. DeLorme creates logs of our travels, and since we were retired, we no longer had to rush to our destination. So, along the way, the DW would see something of interest off our main route and we would turn off to see the sight and then return to our planned route.

When we got home, I was showing the logs to the kids to show where we had been. Well, many of them showed zig-zag patterns as we travelled. Hence, zigzagrv!

My lifelong hobby and my first name. The spelling comes from my license plate which I've had on whatever vehicle I've driven since moving to Washington in the mid 1980s. When we sold (almost) everything including my car, I transferred the plate to my Motorhome. Thought it was fitting since I'm dragging four telescopes around the U.S. with us.

2 of the four while in Quartzsite Dec 2020. All set-up for the great Jupiter/Saturn Conjunction:

I don't have the urge to do the work to do astronomy but I think it is real cool that you can take a picture like that! WOW!

WereShankin - not as interesting as it could be….just a play on my last name when a guy I worked in a restaurant with had trouble saying my last name. He tried a few times and landed on Wershankin. I added the extra E, started capitalizing the S, and used it as my name while playing Call of Duty :-P
