Spent 36 years as a Marine Grunt; Quit HS at 17 and spent 10 as enlisted and 26 as an officer. Wrote a book called We'll All Die as Marines - One Marine's Journey from Private to Colonel. Several reviewers picked up on the fact that my favorite rank of all was Sergeant; one chapter is entitled "Only a Sergeant." Loved being called "Sgt B" and it stuck. Semper Fi.

We go off roading in the AZ desert canyons and mountains with our highly modified Jeep and Rock crawling Buggy. When we push it too far, there is usually some body damage. Laying it on its side or going over backwards on a slippery waterfall tends to get attention. No one could think of a more appropriate name, so Crasher it is. My wife reminds me that we will both be 80 this year and thinks we should get a new hobby. Maybe she's onto something.
