In my "former life", I was a U.S. Army UH-1H flight engineer or "crew chief". I served with the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) out of Ft. Campbell, KY supporting Task Force 3/327th in the Sinai. We were the U.S. contingent serving alongside many nations in the MFO - Multinational Force and Observer, a.k.a. "Sinai Peacekeepers". Our aviation unit provided support and reconnaissance to the infantry units sent there.

"Peacekeeper6" was the call sign of our commanding officer who flew my Huey (a '72 model that served in the 'Nam) many times. He was one of those commanders who got respect without really asking for it; his chest full of awards and medals, coupled with being an aviator and a former member of the Special Forces in Vietnam, got noticed. His leadership style was the right blend of authority and compassion. All of his subordinates enjoyed serving under his command.

And being 40-something and in GREAT shape (at the time), he could outrun A LOT of 18-year old "punks".

Anyway, I've always admired him and never forgot his cool call sign.

We live in Alaska! My oldest granddaughter gave me the name years ago. Every time we fished together no matter what I’d always catch the most with out trying.

Over the years whenever we talked about doing something or going somewhere or "when we ......" it was always "SomeDay".

SomeDay we'll visit Aus' NZ, Hawaii, go FT Rving and win the lottery LOL.

So I became known as SomeDay. Occasionally some of our SomeDays have become Today's so all's good.

Happy Travels.

Cowboy Action Shooting competitor and my handle was 'Hard Tack'

When I first joined an RV Forum years ago (not this one) that handle was taken so I improvised and went with 'Old-Biscuit'
Joined here and kept it.

Back on the day I was known amongst mountain biking friends for always having lots of "bike trouble" . My tag is just a play on words from that. It's stuck with me for almost 20 years now.

On my 1000mi drive home after buying my coach I was talking to her.

"You know what I mean; Jellybean?"

Seemed like a match.

Because since day 1 of purchasing this thing (kz e17) I have had nothing but issues, problems, headaches, stress, etc. This was the biggest mistake of my life, but I am not stuck with it for quite some time; not one day passes when I wake up with a smile anymore. I used to be happy, I used to be a positive person, but now I'm filled with rage and sadness.

Used to work for McCaffertys Coach co in Toowoomba Australia. They bought out the Greyhound coach co and when I retired it became a play on that. I was the only A/C tech they had to service 186 coaches.
