In my "former life", I was a U.S. Army UH-1H flight engineer or "crew chief". I served with the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) out of Ft. Campbell, KY supporting Task Force 3/327th in the Sinai. We were the U.S. contingent serving alongside many nations in the MFO - Multinational Force and Observer, a.k.a. "Sinai Peacekeepers". Our aviation unit provided support and reconnaissance to the infantry units sent there.

"Peacekeeper6" was the call sign of our commanding officer who flew my Huey (a '72 model that served in the 'Nam) many times. He was one of those commanders who got respect without really asking for it; his chest full of awards and medals, coupled with being an aviator and a former member of the Special Forces in Vietnam, got noticed. His leadership style was the right blend of authority and compassion. All of his subordinates enjoyed serving under his command.

And being 40-something and in GREAT shape (at the time), he could outrun A LOT of 18-year old "punks".

Anyway, I've always admired him and never forgot his cool call sign.

We like to say that we bought our 5er for our dog Ruby, hence RubysRig.

I chose 'Pusherman' as I drove a diesel pusher coach for the last 10 years. Only to find out it has some history from a druggie guy. Maybe bad choice.

Owned a stained glass studio and they were implementing the 911 system in rural SW Virginia. All streets had to have names. We wanted glass alley for the street next to our studio. They chose glass lane - how boring. I've used it ever since.

I love Art Deco art and furniture and named my last Standard Poodle Deco. I also love dancing, especially swing and ballroom. Used to joke that the only dance partner I had at times was my dog. Hence Decodancer

Abn is short for airborne. That only means that I'm dumb enough to fall out of a perfectly good airplane.

Marine is from being in the Marine Corps even though I'm currently Army Special Operations.
