Then there is the irv2.com member who did/does not have an ESC. Last he told he is out-of-pocket $50,000 repairing his engine.

Does anyone know of any studies that show the percentage of ESC contracts that pay back more than the premium?? As profitable as they are for the selling agent and the company, I suspect that less than 15% get more than their premium back. Buying one depends on ones comfort level.

Thanks again for all the words of wisdom!! The dealer one we are being offered is exclusionary 7 yrs, 100,000 miles, 5 yrs of coachnet, tire/wheel for 7500 or so. It does bug me to buy it now when it has a full year of warranty + chassis, etc. I will call some of the wholesalers to see what kind of pricing is available at the end of the 1 yr warranty. Many thanks!!
