You are not the only one that has an extended warranty and has had good luck with it. I purchased my MH used and the maintance records were not that good -- I went the 4 year, 48,000 mile extended warranty -- yes it does list out what it does not cover and for the most part there are limitations on the electronics and all of the normal wear and tear items. The dealer I bought from paid half of the cost (negotiated on the front end). I ended up paying $2,200 of the cost. So far I have had two claims that have been paid without any hesitation at all. I have all of my major work done at Cummins South (South Atlanta location) and they have made the call to the warranty company each time and I have not been involved at all. Both times, Cummins South had their payment when I took the coach from them. To date, the two claims paid would have been $2,200 out of my pocket to take care of -- so I think I have now broken even -- and I still have over 2 years to go on the coverage. The mileage is not a consideration at all as there is no way that I will hit the 48,000 mile mark.

For each person, this is a decision that has be made and fit their situation. May you have many happy, non trouble miles ahead of you.
