You may be paying your brother's electric bill along with yours but that's still high.

Highest bill I have ever had was $200.00 at 11 cents per Kwh. I run heat pumps in winter and both a/c's in summer plus normal household usage since I live in my rig. It's odd but it doesn't drop that much when I travel for a couple of weeks. I am running of my kids meter but use a usage monitor to pay him. His 2500 square foot house uses about the same as I do.

Could have had a cardiac event. Or, we may read about a domestic disturbance in the news tomorrow.

So less than 24 hours since his post. Give him some time, maybe he doesn't live on a forum.

There is something wrong. Your brother should recognize this. That $700 is way more than my current electric bill is even in the summer when I'm running the A/C and have the trailer is plugged into a dedicated 30 amp RV outlet.

Come stay at my place.
You can have all the electricity you want for only $500.

Yep! You nailed it. He is either having fun with everyone or hasn’t given the whole story.

I would have to write down my meter reading and read it and write it down every day for a month. After a few days you would get an idea what you are using. You could have a bad meter?
That just seems to high?
