Factory installed San-T-Flush

I have a factory installed San-T-Flush and the water input doesn't make sense. See photo. It has the same male fitting as a water spicket. Do I need a male to male adapter or am I missing something?

Thanks

With a male inlet fitting on the board you would need a female/female adapter to provide a female fitting to attach your hose to. My rig has the same fitting but I've adapted the setup with quick disconnects to make the hookup easier. I purchased my female/female adapter at Lowe's.

Thanks. The quick disconnect is a good idea. I'm off to Lowes.

The idea was to avoid inadvertently hooking your fresh water hose up to the flusher. But you gotta hook up an alternate hose somehow, so you need either a hose modified for that inlet or an adapter.

I have a separate hose, orange in color, that I adapted for the saniflush with a quick connect. Works great.
