Fake picture ? KOA drop the ball?

So this ad popped up on my Facebook stream today. Look at the picture closely, is that motorhome that sold here in the United States? Who makes it? Look at the license plate, it looks like a European design or did KOA’s ad agency really dropped the ball with a stick photo?ATTACH]229510[/ATTACH]

Whole thing is fake if you are thinking Cape Hatteras. Not many mountains, pine trees or snow there as a general rule.

Kinda like the ad for Country Coach where a Veranda model is parked on a wooden bridge over a river and the guy standing out on the veranda fly fishing.

Admittedly I know very little about Facebook, but my guess would be that someone shared the photo with the Cape Hatteras KOA Facebook page and they inadvertently sent it out with an ad.

Advertisers buy stock photos and use them all the time. This is just the case of KOA doing that. Whoever purchased this one obviously knows nothing about Cape Hatteras or RVing and just bought an image that represented what they imaged for an RV. It's probably not even someone at KOA but rather and outsourced ad agency but it should have been reviewed by KOA.

Is it any different than the RV ads that show (typically) a 45’ Class A sitting all by itself in a tranquil, grassy field next to a stream with grandpa showing his grandson how to fly fish (of course, it would be a great coachnet ad showing a mega tow truck pulling grandpa out of said location ) or an RV on beach somewhere with no one else around.

Exactly- and that goes to you credibility, I doubt that you let Disney publish such a mistake.

Lot of fuss over a Stock photo.. I just wish the Carthago Motohome pictured was available here in the USA. Saw the 6.5 meter version in Ireland and fell in love with the interior layout and quality
