Filling Fresh Water Tank

When I'm filling my fresh water holding tank, then I remove
the hose from the fill neck, water and air shoot back out at me.
This happens no matter how empty or full the tank is, and no
matter how high or low the pressure is from my fill hose.
Does that sound normal?

Sounds like the vent tube is kinked/plugged or maybe to low in the tank.

Thank you!
That's exactly what it was.
Looks like some kind of bugs or bees stuffed it with something.
Took that tube off and cleaned it out, now filling fine.
