After reaching age 60 and having owned truck campers, travel trailers and fifth wheels and also alot of procrastination we have decided that our last RV will be either a 2003 or 2004 Jayco Designer 31FKS travel trailer. Would like to find one with all the bells and whistles if possible. We are willing to travel just about anywhere in North America for one. We've been scouring the internet for weeks. As would be expected, one popped up on a search Saturday 9/15/07. It had everything we were looking for, thermopanes, winter insulation package, 10 gal. DSI hot water heater, 50 amp service, 2 rain sensor fans, aluminum rims, 2 slideout awnings, shock absorbers, gelcoat, blue interior decor, etc., etc. Best of all it was only 2 hours away. One fast phone call later and disappointment, Just SOLD.!
We will keep looking but could use some help. If you know of one or see one we would sure appreciate a headsup by email or PM. While we continue to search, if you own or have owned a unit like this, we would appreciate reading your experience (good or bad) with this unit.
Thanks for reading our lengthy post. We will greatly appreciate any help.

Try calling these folks:
Huffy's RV & Trailer Sales
Their web site doesn't show any used inventory (it's under construction) so you'll have to call. They're probably one of, if not the largest Jayco dealer in western PA. Our Jayco was purchased there. I can't promise anything, but it's worth a try.

Just pasting "Jayco Designer 31 FKS" returned many links to classified listings and dealer used inventory...
They look like nice units.
