Finally got a truck

I traded in my 2021 Silverado 2500 Custom CC LB 4x4 on 12-22-21 for a new 2022, same model with several more options, for an even swap.
After waiting 7 mo. and my new truck not built yet, my dealer called and informed me he had a truck come in that the customer backed out on, if I was interested?
I headed straight there and found he had a very nice new 2022 LT model with CC LB 4x4. Was the same configuration I wanted with fifth wheel and bedliner except in the higher level LT trim. Had almost every thing I wanted except the dual alternators and batteries and a whole lot more with the Z-71 off road package, Sport edition and All Star convenience package. Way more options and gizmo's than I ordered and a promise to install chips later to make the heated seats and steering wheel and parking sensors work. I could care less about heated seats but the parking assist sensors would be nice on such a large truck. Wasn't crazy about the color, Red Hot, but they made me another deal that I couldn't refuse, because I had waited so long and they had no idea when my order would be produced. Knowing the lack of availability of a long bed in the configuration I wanted, I bought it.
The color is growing on me as I love all the features and comfort.

Awesome, congrats, it's nothing like getting a new toy so what are you pulling? I bought a LB 2022 Ram diesel and I love it this is my first LB and after towing my 5th wheel I'm glad that I got a LB. I traded in my Jayco 5th wheel and bought a MH so I'm still glad I got it.

Thanks, I am currently pulling the 2006 Gulf Stream Amerilite 21MBLE, in my sig. More truck than I need for it but the plan is to upgrade to a larger TT when the wife retires in a year. I haul my 07 Harley in the bed when pulling the TT. That is why I need the long bed.

Congratulations. I traded for a 2500 last week. So far I really like it. It doesn't have as many options as yours and is a short bed. So far I like the 6.6 gas burner. Drives great around town.
I am enjoying adding some upgrades. I installed running boards last night and have a bak flip bed cover in the garage awaiting installation.

Beautiful truck. The color is a personal choice. While I might not care for it everyone else might. As long as your happy that’s all that matters. Seems like the waiting has a lot of added benefit with your dealer. I think that should be the headline….”Car dealer helps customer find a truck in crazy shortage”
