Financing a second RV?
Most banks won't let you take out a second recreational vehicle loan, but I'm wondering if anyone here has done that?

My guess is that they will let you take out any loan they think you have the ability to repay, but buyers who can afford more than one RV loan probably don't need one.

I can’t speak for the OP, but there are places I would like to camp, but they are too remote to take the MH.
For those places, I need a TT or small fifth wheel.
My wife vetoed using tents a long time ago….

Could you tow a bumper pull with a Class A?

I know several people with a 5th wheel, that they leave parked in FL year round, and a motorhome to travel in. In one case, the motorhome is parked next to the 5th wheel when its not at fort wilderness. (Where it spends half its life)

One case that comes to mind is buying a new RV and haven't sold the old one, yet.
For the OP, not sure why this would be an issue. At one point, I had loans on four cars, a horse trailer an RV and a house.

I'm considering getting another smaller rv. The motorhome we have now is great for longer camping stays but I dislike taking it on long jaunts since it's older (more likely something will break) and only gets around 8 mpg. I also don't want to set up a toad. I'd personally like to go back to a truck/pop up truck camper since it would improve on the 3 things I mentioned.
As far as getting a loan on a 2nd rv, I'm not sure why not. I wouldn't think there'd be a problem as long as your credit is good and you're not over extended.

I actually know two people who have more than one RV. Both of them use them in different situations. One has a Class A + a smaller rig for offroad camping and the other a Class A + a Class C that they choose according to the distance traveled and length of stay.
