Take a hand gun to Canada, it's an automatic 10 years as a new Canadian citizen. The real good part is free room and board. The health insurance isn't bad either

Their 'free room and board" doesn't come with free healthcare like here in the states? Still rethinking where retirement will be spent.

No guns in Canada means no mass shootings. Check them at the border or leave them at home.

I always take my shotgun with me in to and through Canada when going to and from Alaska.
Fill out the form and pay $25.00. No big deal. The registration is good for 2 months.
I have no clue about Mexico. Eric Holder would be a good source of info about transporting guns to Mexico.

Only people allowed to carry guns in Mexico are thugs, criminals and drug cartel members. Because the country is so corrupt, honest people who are non criminals and carry guns get put in jail. You might get away with it if you bribe enough elected officials.

We Canadians respect your ccw permit. YOU have to respect our laws. We don`t want your guns in OUR country. Your ccw permit means nothing here. Respect our laws as I respect and obey yours when in the USA.

Quebec school shootings in 1989 and 1992 left 18 dead.
Toronto Eaton Centre shooting in June 2012 left 2 dead and 3 wounded.
Toronto neighborhood shooting in July 2012 left 2 dead and 23 wounded.
So how is that "no guns means no mass shootings" working for you.....

Pretty much the same in the UK and Australia too. They took all the guns away from the law abiding citizens and who does that leave? Needless to say, it ain't been working very well for the citizens.
I prefer RVing on U.S. soil where I don't have to wait 30 minutes for the police to show up to protect me from some maniac.

Whether I like the laws or not I will follow them. I would never think of entering Canada without first stopping at the border and registering my firearm as required by their law.
To easy not to do it. 15 minutes and $245.00 vs. untold fines and possible jail time. Why risk it for $25.00.

You can take handguns in to Canada for organized sporting/shooting events with the proper paperwork.

You better hope that attitude doesn't catch on. According to the last statistics, for the year 2009, Americans spent $6.1 billion in tourist dollars in Canada.
In the same years Canadians spent $12.7 billion (US) in tourist dollars in the US.
That's a better than 2:1 ratio.
