Flame Genie Inferno SS

Has anyone used or seen in action the flame genie inferno in stainless steel? Is a pellet fire pit a good investment? It is getting expensive to buy firewood at campgrounds. Here in the northeast campgrounds are not allowing you to bring in your own firewood.

If you're burning pellets, that can get quite expensive. Seems to me that at $6.00 for 2 lbs of pellets you're spending a lot of money to have a fire. May be less expensive if you just get a propane fire pit and run it off a 20 lb bottle of propane.

At many campgrounds they don't allow wood fires but do allow either those pressed logs or propane.

I buy 40#'s for $5.49.

We just had a house burn to the ground using a pellet stove. Top of the line I am told. The auto feed mechanism somehow got jammed and kept feeding pellets. They only need a small handful to operate correctly and I can see how one could get away from you.
