Flexible, tasteless, drinking water hose exist?

Does a flexible, tasteless, drinking water safe hose exist?

I replaced my hose last year on my Tiffin Phaeton because it tasted like hose...pretty sure it was the original.

I bought a Camco TastePURE hose and it is very stiff and still tastes like hose....(don't think its my plumbing, but could be )

Just curious if there is a more flexible hose that doesn't taste bad?

Thanks!

I've read that the water come out of those tastes pretty bad. Maybe we just need to stick to bottled water?

We have been using the Zero-G for the last two years and love it. No taste, easy to wind up and store.

Well, everyone but me. What is wrong with the white hoses? Now that I think of it, water we consume comes from 1 gallon jugs of distilled water.

I also switched to zero G hose. No taste issue but I do use a double filter with the second being charcoal. Safe travels

Enjoy the journey

If your using a new hose that is rated for drinking water and it tastes bad it may be time to sanitize your fresh water system.

We switched to Zero G a couple of years ago and will highly recommend them.
It also sounds like you're not using any filter; again I would highly suggest one.

The one on our DS is changed every 3 months because when we changed it every 6 months it was a dark brown.

Last but not least we have never really drank the water from the camper, we bought a Berky and use it for all of our consumption.

Plain white drinking hose works for us. We sanitize our onboard water system every year and.... we fill up our tank with fresh well water before heading out. That 100 gallons is used for drinking only. We switch to CG water to shower, flush, and wash clothes.

I agree with Spdracr39, depending on usage and temperatures the fresh water system might need sanitizing several times a year. Any time there is a taste to the water using any potable water hose I'd definitely do it, including the hose.

Like others have said, time to sanitize and rinse your system.

A new hose made for drinking water like the standard white hoses will give off some taste when first used, but run water through them for a few minutes and it will go away.

Now get out the bleach.

Watched a YouTube video from wandering weekends last night about the Zero G hoses.
Worth a watch.
I had one, after 2 years the inside started to flake off
