Florida new reservation system info?

We are trying to work out the best way to work the new reservation system for FL State parks. We know that it is tough to get a reservation but that is life these days. To make the best of things using the old system we could go in 11 months ahead on the first of the months and be there when the new reservations loaded. An example is- want a December reservation? You go in on January First and be there at 8:00 AM and refresh until an available site comes up. Grab real fast. So the rules were 11 mos ahead, first of the month, eight oclock. This year on the new system the reservations for December were visible but not yet available. It is eight thirty and no change.I also see that over half of the early weeks of December 2022 are already reserved. Don't know how to get in on that one........

Does anyone know the new rules for the new system?

Myself and Bh just reserved a couple of sites @ a couple of Florida state parks. Their web site is https://reserve.floridastateparks.org . It is still 11months to 24hours in advance reservations. Also you can make reservations by calling US edirect @ 1-800-326-3521 this info comes from the paperwork we just got from the State park near us. Hope this helps

I used it the other day. The days open up 11 months out. Day by day. Not a month at a time. They open at 8am Eastern time.

The days you see already taken were reserved earlier.

A lot of games are played on the site like reserving 14 days in order to get the last few days. You can go back in 18 days and release the dates you don't want.

If your looking for a popular park, you better have the highest speed network out there.

The site has a timer on it but there must be bots hitting it up at the exact time.
