I would call the state park people to find what time their online changes to get ready to apply. In Ohio it is 7 am and both states uses the same prigram

This smells to high heaven of a DDOS attack. A distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack is a malicious attempt to disrupt the normal traffic of a targeted server, service or network by overwhelming the target or its surrounding infrastructure with a flood of Internet traffic. Protocol Attacks: Includes SYN floods, fragmented packet attacks, Ping of Death, Smurf DDoS and more. This type of attack consumes actual server resources, or those of intermediate communication equipment, such as firewalls and load balancers, and is measured in packets per second (Pps). Application Layer Attacks: Includes low-and-slow attacks, GET/POST floods, attacks that target Apache, Windows or OpenBSD vulnerabilities and more. Comprised of seemingly legitimate and innocent requests, the goal of these attacks is to crash the web server, and the magnitude is measured in Requests per second (Rps). Other than that it could just also be that the server program just wasn't built to handle the load being placed on it (like the guy towing a 15000LB 5th Wheel with an F-150). Worst case scenario the program wasn't properly tested under load by beta tester's before general release. Just my $0.05 (corrected for inflation) on the subject.

We know what time the changes happen, 8 AM.

By tested under load do you refer to the thousand of folks who want a reservation and are reduced to being there at 8 am and hammering their reset buttons in the hopes of getting one of the three sites offered or lurking about for cancellations with the site up and repeatedly hitting the reset whenever we have time? Or do you mean the DDOS attacks.

It is not a denial of service attack.

The system works fine for 95% of the parks. The interface between Florida's backend system and the web front-end shows signs of strain at 8:00a eastern time for the two campgrounds in the keys.

No. The problem will remain until a no refund policy is put into effect...and no reselling allowed by the scammers. Bahia Honda and Curry Hammock are the worst.

Are you using your phone to make a reservation? I got the same error with my phone but when I got on my laptop I was able to do it fine.
