The F-J today in Rock Springs, WY took my F-J card and Mastercard for 37+ gals at $116. No Problem at all. One shot, no restarts. Love it. I get a F-J $0.01/gal. discount and another 3% from MC. Works out to $0.11+/gal. Not bad.

I don't know about all FJs but I 94 exit 116 in WI would not take visa at either pump. After visa refused at truck pump I assumed Ineeded to see the cashier WRONG SHE REFERRED ME TO A fj FINANCECIAL ADVISOR who displayed his FJ visa card to me and told me only FJ visa debit card would be authorized in the future. FJ now has its own bank to which you wire transfer $$ from your own bank account to their bank to secure the debit card. As long as one has enough $$ in FJ bank to cover the purchase FJ visa will be authorized. Because you have money in their bank the will actually give you the cash discount. Now ain't that nice. I pay FJ 5 cents a gallon for the privilege of charging on my visa at their pumps. Now they want me to transfer by' wire only' from my interest bearing account to their noninterest bearig account for that priviledge. Nation wide how many $$ are they getting interest free to use from us and the truckers. Sounds like a money maker to me. By the way, the FJ card shown to me was a combination visa/master card.

As for the Flying J in Carlisle, PA I-81 Exit 52, they are still accepting Visa at the Car and RV islands. At the truck pumps, they are putting money on a gift card using Visa, and paying for the fuel with the gift card. Sounds like a work around for the truckers. Personally for me, if they stop taking Visa at the pumps, I will be getting fuel elswhere.

FJ in Winslow, AZ and Kingman, AZ both accepted Visa at the RV island, although at Winslow I did have to go inside to pay. Don't know if it was their card reader or what, but they did accept it inside.
I have both Visa and MC, but prefer to use Visa because my Visa is a cash rewards card and my MC is not. If the FJ price is low enough, I will use MC if they don't accept Visa because the savings will probably be about the same or slightly greater than the cash reward. In Kingman the price was $2.969 (less $.01 discount with the RV card) when the next lowest price in the area was $3.099, but that was at a station I probably couldn't have fit my rig into.

Correct me if I am wrong but it was stated that FJ would still accept Visa at RV pumps and inside. I too am a big fan of Flying "J" and feel these card cos. like to push people around. Makes me feel good to see someone "push back".
