Foggy Rear Camera

Guys - my rear camera has become foggy on my 16' Georgetown XL 350TS. Really hard to see what's back there other than the TOAD not having been disconnected yet. How to go about fixing or replacing and with what? The 2 side cameras are working just fine. Looking for an easy fix or even replacement if possible. Not really wanting to pay someone/take to the shop as that will take forever to have repaired. We have a trip at the end of the month.

Thanks for any ideas and/or suggestions.

I'm a believer in the KISS principle. I do not know of any reason that a camera goes 'foggy' other than there is dirt on the lens. Possibly condensation on the lens. I'm sure this could be over-thought, but that's a first step.

If that is not the problem, then a camera replacement is in order.

Probably moisture trapped on the inside of the lens. If it is and you can easily remove the camera, drop it in a bag of dry rice or a container with a desiccant pack for a few days to see if that draws out the moisture before buying a new one.

The rear camera on my rig has 4 screws that allow for disassembly and cleaning the inside of the lens. My water leak that allowed moisture inside was a nick in the cord from the factory installation.

Mine was foggy and fixed it by resolldering the wires on the plug into display screen.
