Thanks. So I won’t buy from Lectric.Com. Lots of choices these days in all price ranges. Can’t quite get my head around $4G to $5G for a bike.
I really find the electric unicycles appealing, but my wife says I can’t even tie my own shoes without falling over, so that is a no. Another thing, some unicycles weight as much as 60lbs, and can go 50 mph maybe more. Would need a complete suit of armor...

I don't understand this
2 lectric bikes delivered are under $2K.....899 each and you get a 5% discount if you are a veteran.
i've had 2 since 2019 and they have been rock solid.
I have 2 more "Step throughs" shipping this week but just tonight they announced an upgraded model with front suspension, freer rolling tires and additional mounting options for $999.
Pretty good considering what all the competitors are charging

They are off Chinese brands. Just do search for 2000w escooter and you will see a ton of the shops that sell everything from slow to real real fast.

UPDATE******** Lectric is releasing a 2.0 version of both the regular and step-through bikes on 5-18-2021!!!
The new bikes will now have front suspension, wider handlebars, and more manageable tires (3" vs 4") which will reduce the overall weight and put them on par with others that are $400 - $500 more for basically the same thing.
Recommend if interested you get in the loop soon!!

Paul65k, see post #28, which may clarify why I probably won't buy from lectric.com. I may go with a Rad bike, but I continue to look. Not sure about the off brand Chinese bikes because of warranties and availability fo spare parts. Some of the Chinese bikes are a cheaper, no doubt about that.
