If we were not on a hill with a angle drive. I would have it at home. (I cannot get it level in our driveway) I did talk to a carport builder and was told no-way.
We did get it moved to an inside storage facility, with electricity, about a mile from the house, which is great.

Having my batteries plugged in is great.

Its also nice to have the coach at home in the event of a power cut, the 100 gallons of gas in the coach will go a long way.

At some stage we will look in to a pole barn but it will have to be after the coach loan and house mortgage is paid off.

It's very convenient to have the rig next to home:

I built a 4br/4bath with a 4 car garage in 1997. I had my 30A rv plug installed when I built the house 23 years ago. (Voice of Experience: get 50A, you'll want it) I initially dug the rv pad down and filled it with gravel, but ended up pouring it several years later. Now I want a bigger garage to bring my rv inside and bring all my cars home.

Yeah, it's great having the rv at home. Wish I had it inside. Soon.

If you are in the dangerous age that is a perfect place to isolate groceries or any other items delivered to your home or if you pick it up yourself.

We are at extreme risk and have a mobile home next to us. We live in the RV and use the MH to satisfy the charmdarms .

Groceries come via our family or delivery. I take great care and move those items to the mobile home for a 48 hour isolation period..

Just offering some tips for isolation and protection from this invisible invader.
