Ford Transmission repair near Fort Worth, Texas

We have been broken down since Friday. We cannot find anyone who will work on a Ford transmission. We have an Itasca Sunova 33C, 2013, gasoline engine V10 Triton 6.8 l engine. Anyone know of a shop that can work on it? Advice would be appreciated. We have Good Sam roadside assistance and they can’t find anyone either.

You might try Southwest Ford in Hudson Oaks (844) 253-7070 on the west side of Fort Worth on I20. They always seem to have a few MHs in for service. Good luck.

Thanks for the response. We finally found someone, Pro Truck and Repair who would look at our motorhome. It was a 32 mile tow for $900. They immediately began working on our RV and as of yesterday they figured out it was the parking brake assembly that bolts onto the transmission. They were only able to find three assemblies in the US and they have one being shipped out. Since working on RVs is not their bread and butter work, I have nothing but nice things to say about the owner. Parts expected in about a week so we left the RV and drove home. Will see how Good Sam handles the tow and repair costs. After two days of looking, Good Sam was unable to find a tow vehicle or repair shop to take us to. After 4 full pages of calling around we were given Pro Truck's number. Not a large shop, and in the middle of nowhere, but he seems like a good man so we left our RV with them with no reservations. Will post when we get the end to this story.
