My old trailer had an overflow on tank, which also acted like a vent for air to enter the tank. The one I have now has the vent right next to the fill port.

Fresh tank won’t fill all of the way.

As an update, I opened up the coroplast and was able to determine that the drain comes strait off the bottom, and the vent/overflow are somewhere up top but hard to see where. Overflow apparently just drains down and leaks out the coroplast where it can find its way out. This seemed alarming at first but I realized that it’s really not doing any damage as any water that get stuck in there just sits on the coroplast. I think I’ll drill a 1/4 hole at the low point of the coroplast so it drains quickly.

Anyway, not exactly sure how to proceed with the idea that I can’t see the overflow but I have been able to measure and confirm that I indeed have a 33-35 gallon tank. Disappointing on one hand, considering I originally thought I had a 51 gallon tank, but on the other hand a relief that it’s not cracked or some other issue.

Thanks for all of the help on this!!

Personally I would find the overflow and made sure it ported to below the coroplast. It will be messy but one method might be start filling and get under with the coroplast peeled back. Watch for when it starts venting overboard and find that sucker. I wouldn't want water/moisture readily collecting on the coroplast holding moisture under there.

Yea, I think that's what I'll do as soon as I can.
