HOBBIES are expensive
Hardly a 'rich person' but I enjoy my hobby and will continue to do so
If struggling, then maybe not best time to invest in a hobby
Priorities...one must set them and live within ones means

I never considered RV'ing to be a hobby. My thoughts were that traveling, sightseeing, geology, photography, astronomy, fishing, were my hobbies and the RV was simply an aid for those hobbies. However, as I thought about it, RV'ing all by itself certainly could be a hobby for many of us. Similar to boating, you can spend as much or as little as you like (to a certain extent).

Not to go deep into this, but I know for sure that there are some people who are struggling and they purchase an RV in an effort to have a lower cost warm and dry place to live. For those I wouldn't call it a hobby, but for me and many of us, I suppose so. ~CA

I’m not up on news source reliability but what you are saying is this isn’t happening? I took a quick look at other sources and many seem to indicate this is happening.

We haven’t used an imperial gallon since the 70s!
In fact many of our 4 litre products ( oil, washer fluid , paint etc ) are only 3.78 to match the American gallon.

Open our reserves and lower restrictions in drilling. Become independent is the smart way, relying on foreign oil is the real problem. Let’s put my relatives in New Mexico back to work pumping oil.
You are just as wrong about this now as you were when you made similar claims a few pages back.

Same thing here up in North Cal. Outside of of our local Costco pump, some of the cheapest gaso I've seen is at some of the stations along I-5.

If supply and demand was commanding the current gas prices then logic would say there are shortages and that would create lines at the stations that have fuel. There is none of that in the west that I am aware of.

This is going in circles and political comments have continued. It's time to move on.

Thank you to those posting on topic.
