full length wall mirrors

We want to have installed a full length mirror on the wall by the dinette. This mirror will be mostly covered by the slide while traveling. We also would like the same matching mirror around the cook top and sink. This will be exposed while traveling. For safety reasons we were thinking acrylic apposed to glass. Any thoughts from others would be welcomed. Thanks in advance.

We put a cut glass edged mirror from Lowes; mounted on the wall in bedroom. Mirror is covered by slide when we travel; no problems so far. Just used double sided foam tape and mirror brackets to secure to wall. I like glass as opposed to acrylic. We have full wall slide and mirror adds more depth really like that.

I agree with glas. We got a mirror cracked several years ago (when in for maintenance) and replaced it with a beveled edge from Lowes or HD, using the original border molding. Still looks great after these several years. It is in the same location as you describe, on the wall that is hidden by the slide next to the dinette.
