We were looking at a used motorhome that was advertised as "In Like New" condition. The salesman proudly pointed out that the coach had been checked using their 101 point checklist that doesn't miss anything. As we walked up to the coach I pointed out the rubber blade on one of the windshield wipers was ripped and hanging down. He said "I'm sure out mechanic saw that and is ordering new blades." I looked down and saw water inside the turn signal housing "I'm sure he has ordered a new turn signal lens." The battery compartment was a corroded mess "Oh a little water will wash that white stuff right off." Then I pointed out that is looked like the inside tire on the rear dually was flat and it looked like it was damaged.
Inside Sharon found a dead mouse in one of the cabinets below the kitchen sink, and the carpet looked like it had never seen a vacuum cleaner in its life. Sharon announced "there is no way we would buy this coach" and started to walk outside. In a finial attempt to lure us back the salesman said "sure she needs a little TLC here and there buy you can believe me the rest of the coach is perfect".
We left never to return to that dealer again.
