He took it much better then I would have. It's stuff like this that if I could afford to buy new I probably still wouldn't.

No way to update the software without removing genny.....I've had $30 electronics you could do software updates via internet.I would think Cummins would be smart enough to predict possible enhancements could be made .

WOW! I would've had the state attorneys general office involved at the 30 day mark. Since it is used for a business, there would be numerous lawsuits pending.

He made a follow up video, he's on his 3rd generator and the Cummins Onan guys were the only ones that stepped up to help.

Something to be said for buying a 10 year old rig. Everything will be broke and you can buy it well under market value.

And people think I'm crazy for buying salvage RVs at an auction.

A blown fuse is an indication that something is wrong - and there seems to be a lot wrong: with the makers, the builders, and the sellers of this RV. Worst of all they don’t seem to care about their own reputation. You know the famous saying: “There’s a sucker born every minute.” The RV industry seems to have taken that to heart.
Kinda like the Dead Parrot Sketch:

He lasted way longer than I would have. I would have neem all over Renegade like white on rice to have the RV replaced in total at no cost to me.

These types of stories are way too common now. It's unbelievable to me that dealers treat customers they way they do after spending such a huge amount of money. There is just no way I would buy a new motorhome these days. It's not worth the aggravation.

One way RV manufactures get away with this BS, is surprisingly (or maybe not) RV are specifically exempted from lemon laws in many US States.
