GA/NC Seasonal or RV lot ownership suggestions?

We did a Coast-to-Coast Round Trip (FL to CA) last season and want to “stay closer to home” this season – mostly in the SE (GA/NC/SC/TN).

We are look for recommendations for Monthly/Seasonal or RV Lots properties in the Blairsville/Hiawassee, GA, area, the Franklin/Ashville, NC, area, and/or the Boone/Blowing Rock, NC, area.

We have good friends in all areas and have stayed and looked at number in the Blairsville area – Choestoe Falls/Valley, Rivers Edge, Crossing Creeks.

We are very interested in ownership options in the Ashville/Boone/Blowing Rock, NC areas where we have not yet spent much time yet.

Any Good Suggestions?

What’s the best way to look for RV lots For Sale?

Eddie and Karen,

Thanks very much. We have looked there and that is where we noticed two lots in Blairsville, GA. I was hoping there was a directory or something listing parks/resorts that offer lot purchases?

They also list what looks like "property/land" and say RV lot. I don't really understand all that? Maybe they are land lots that would allow for Motor Coach parking?

Thanks for your reply to my post, as a "newbie" to the forum it good to know I listed it somewhere that it was read

Be Well,

Check out Raccoon Holler Campground outside of Jefferson (near Boone, NC). It has mostly seasonal sites and a lot of happy campers. Lovely area. The campground is just 1/2 mile off the Blue Ridge Parkway.

There are a few campgrounds that are nice around Spruce Pine, NC as well. We were at Mountain River Family Campground for a year and it was pretty nice.

Great Outdoors RV Resort in Franklin NC is very nice and convenient to many of the area's small towns, Highlands, Franklin, Cashiers, Sylva and tourist locations including Maggie Valley, Cherokee, and Gatlinburg. It's about an hour west of Ashville. We have spent several weeks over the past few summers in the area and find it relaxing and enjoyable.

Also just above Great Outdoors on the top of the hill is another RV resort where the lots are owned and not rented out. I can't remember the name but google maps should find it.
