Gap Insurance?
I've been researching RV Gap insurance for a while now and am having no luck finding any insurance companies that offer it. I've searched on this forum and everyone says "you should have it", or "that wouldn't have happened if you had gap insurance" but nowhere does anyone say where I could find it. Could someone help me out please? A few ideas of companies to start with would be helpful, unless that's not allowed. I just need somewhere to start.

It is very likely that the insurance company selling you comprehensive and collision coverage will also offer gap insurance.

It's my understanding it is should be "offered" by the lending institution, but rarely does. Any vehicle loans I've had with the credit union, they have it a mandatory part of the loan. However I've never been offered gsp when dealing with dealership

We got ours from Allstate. It's only good for a few years, though. Is your RV brand new?
Oh...and welcome to the forum!!

Hi rvwinnie, welcome to the forum. I'd check with the company that is holding the note on the rig. If you paid cash or had a big down payment, you won't need it. If you have replace with a new model or purchase price coverage, you don't need it.

OK, nevermind. We don't have gap insurance; we have "full replacement value" or whatever that is from Allstate. Duh. (Sorry for the mis-information.)

It may be available under different names. For example, you may be able to get "agreed value" coverage for the amount of the loan instead of the normal actual cash value (ACV). Or "full replacement value" coverage, for the entire amount on the bill of sale. Or words to that effect.
