I have the RM OverDryve 7 RV. What I like about it.
1) Best screen resolution of all the units (1280 x 800)
2) Good navigation (they all make mistakes, but i have not come across one yet).
3) Can enter coach height, weight, length, if towing, if carrying propane, and will reroute as necessary.
4) Optional wireless backup camera (i have this, and it's good).
5) Front and rear facing built in cameras
6) Media storage and Player (can use aux output or will connect to FM radio (plays over an unused station like 88.8, wirelessly)
7) Bluetooth connection to phone. Can answer and make calls hands free.
What I don't like:
1) Terrible customer support. Seems like they don't know (or care) much about this product. I have received incorrect answers to my questions from support and there are mistakes on the website, which I told them about a year ago, and they're still there.
2) You can add new POIs (Points of interest) but can't use custom POI icons.

I understand that.
I use a combination of all 3 to plan the route but actually read the road signs as I'm driving.
Our daughter toured some really out of the way places in Atlanta recently because she chose to follow her gps lane recommendation instead of looking at the huge I75 and I85 emblems painted in the lanes for the respective interstates.
There was so much construction going on during a recent trip to Chattanooga, TN that exits and entrances no longer exist or have changed by a mile or so.

I read the RV Magazine review and was very disappointed with their review. Not sure I need another Android device connected as an all in one device leaning towards a GPS. I’m also confused on the “Dash/Backup Camera” comparison? Does the Rand OverDryve 7 have forward and rear camera’s built in ? Is there a camera included that connect to the back of RV?

Yes, there is a front facing and rear facing camera built into the OverDryve.
The front facing is 8 megapixels (very high resolution), the rear facing camera is 2 megapixels. Of course the rear facing camera can only see the inside the coach (I'm not sure what use that is). The front facing can record the road (capture scenery and accident , etc.). You need to have the tablet/OverDryve mounted on the dash so the camera is pointing to the road ahead (if you care about recording the road). I have my tablet mounted on the corner between drivers window and front windshield so I don't a get full camera view/recording of the road ahead.
The optional wireless backup camera mounts to the license plate frame. It has a repeater that sends signal to the display. It also has grid lines to help backing up (the camera view is adjustable up or down a few degrees). This camera is really nice. It's in color and has a sharp picture.

I've had a Garmin Dezl 770 for a year. Took a long trip from Arkansas through much of New England and the Eastern corredor.
Was not impressed with the maps and routing. Were sections of US and Vermont State highways that we're 10 miles long on not on the map.
Avoid Tolls feature worked well, but when using it the routing was odd.
Will upload new maps, hope I like them better.

First, there is no GPS that is perfect just some better than others. We have both the Rand Mcnally and the Garmin 770 which about 85 percent of the time have identical routes. I will say I have had the Rand Mcnally take us down some side roads that questionable that a 40-foot diesel pusher should be traveling just to save a few miles on the Interstate. Yes, they are both set for the quickest route. We also use an IPad Pro and Co-Pilot to check out the routes and keep both the Garmin and the Rand McNally from taking us on roads that we are not comfortable being on. If I only could have one GPS it would be the Garmin hands down but using Co-Pilot and Garmin for us is the best of both worlds.

A lot of great reviews here, I really appreciate it and still looks like the Garmin is preferred unit.
Thanks again,
Rich
