gas buddy/tsd logistics

thinking of getting one or both. any thoughts on which is better. went to gas buddy site and they wanted dl lic. number and checking acct. number. i balked at that and got out. anybody have any troubles giving that info out? have not tried tsd site yet, do they also want that much personal info? i have time, the virus is keeping me grounded at home so far. BUT, come this summer, hell or high water, i am taking to the road and visit friends and relatives.
any advice on above, will appreciate.

Gas buddy is a legitimate firm, so I'm ok with one. I've not used tsd.

TSD wants your checking account and SSN. They directly debit your account for your purchases. They are legit and I have not heard of any issues from their having info.

I set-up a separate bank account to use with TSD for security reasons. I did not give them a SS# and they were fine with that.

I have saved $96 with TSD over the past two weeks. It is so easy to get into the truck lane, gas up, and within 10-15 minutes I check my app to see how much I saved. The gas locator part of the app is fantastic and helps to plan gas stops as we travel. Can also get DEF on the card as well. Using truck lanes makes traveling with a 37' MH and toad easy to maneuver in the truck stops.

I have a 150 gallon and usually save $60 to $70 per tank. TSD is the way to go if you don't mind trucker lanes. T/A AND PETRO are the ones I save the most at.
