Does anyone know if there is a single website that posts gas and deisel prices throughout the county? We have several trips planned but may alter them if prices get too high.

I don't think this web site, or any other for that matter, will be able to keep up with the way gas prices are changing.
The Gas Buddy site shows high and low prices in an area for the past 60 hours.
With prices going up 2 or more times a day at some stations you would have to have a real time source to check.
I guess you could call ahead and ask. Assuming your not more than 20 miles away the price might not change before you get there.

Use http://www.wrightexpress.com to help you find stations down south with fuel

Prices around here "only" went up between 25c to 50c per gallon. We are starting to see a variation in pricing starting to show up. In some cases there is a difference of 15c/gal between stations across the street from each other. Prices have stable for three days since Thursday.

Cheapest around here is $2.67 for regular unleaded and $3.05 for diesel (diesel has been upside down out west now for 18 months). Highest prices I've seen are $2.99 for regular gas and $3.25 for diesel. This is all within a 10 square mile area with no rhyme or reason as to location and in some cases even brand/chain.

There is a site http://www.gasprice.com, it will give you gas/diesel prices around the country. However, I agree with an earlier post, the speed at which prices are changing, the system administrator of the site might not be able to type fast enough to update the web page !!
