They are saying next week there will be a record number of people on the highways so I would expect it to go up again like it did for Thanksgiving.

I hope we get no more hurricanes in Kentucky, or else it may rise again.

Yep, it doesn't take much for them to bump the price up. Enjoy it while we can. At least we aren't paying $7/gallon like they are in parts of Europe.

Around here, diesel prices at name brand stations is typically $4.69 - $5.25. Best price is Costco at $4.25.

I would say per gallon diesel prices have come down about 4 cents over the past week or so.

The Southern California prices haven't budged. About 4.69 for regular and the same for diesel. A little cheaper at Costco, but they ran out of diesel the other day.

Just like it does every year for every major holiday. Nothing new under the sun.

I went by our local convenience store this morning while a fuel tanker was there filling the tanks. Price on the sign was $3.59 9/10. Two hours later on my way home the sign read $3.69 9/10.
Home heating fuel is currently $3.49 9/10 per gallon.
I did some shopping around for propane. I use this for heating my house, our cook stove, our water heater and my stand by generator. My dealer at the time was at $2.34 9/10 per gallon. I found the new company who has been in town since last spring and I was offered the initial fill of my three tanks at $1.89 9/10 per gallon with the price capped at $2.09 9/10 for the next two years.
The manager at my previous supplier couldn't offer any discounts or give me any idea where prices would go in the next two years. It's really too bad. They are nice people.
I know my new supplier threw out a 'suck me in' price but that's OK. If after the period of my cap the price increases too much I'll be shopping again.
