Golf Cart Insurance

I did some searching online and on the forum but didn't find much. What are folks using for golf cart insurance ? Our agent can't seem to understand what we need.

In the campground we stay at in the summertime requires owners to have insurance on their golf carts. We contacted our insurance company(Nationwide), and they wrote us a policy covering liability on the golf cart. It costs us about $10 per month.

We contacted our agent (State Farm) and he took care of it over the phone. Costs us less than $40 a year.

We also had to get liability insurance and the South Carolina Golf car permit to use ours at our local State Park. The permit was $5 for five years with proof of insurance. We can use the cart on secondary road with a posted 35 mph or lower limit. We just added the cart to our State Farm policy.

I have 50,000 liability and 10,000 replacement cost $106 a year. You need a new agent.

We use Progressive for the golf cart and RV. Our golf cart is street legal and licensed to be driven on the road. We have full coverage on it since we take it in the Road Warrior toy hauler to other states.

Wife pays it once a year I think it is around $139 for the year.
