Golf carts

Just interested in how many people go to campgrounds that allow golf carts and how many have and bring your own. We have a favorite place that we always go to and we were sick of renting one at 65 a day. because the park is so big so we bought are own as everyone has them. I'm a landscaper for a living so I put in my dump truck and tow my TT at the same time or my buddy who's seasonal takes it on my car trailer so I can take my pick up. If so post some pics Click image for larger version

Gotta say I recently had a bad experience with one of those. Guy in the spot next to me had his site so blocked up with junk that he couldn't get his cart from the back of his site where he parked it to the front. His solution. Drive through my site within about 10 ft of my rig 3 times. Oh I should mention it was dark, he had no lights and we often have a small dog on a long lead. I was really close to getting in his face about it.

Haul in F-150

Installed an AmerDeck in my F-150 to haul our cart. Easy to load and unload. Stand on the ground and push the button.

I don't mind carts, it's the goof balls who think everyone wants to hear their bad taste in music that I don't care for.

Rooster, that's a good idea. I have been considering something similar. Will you need to add helper springs on the carts rear axle? That's going to be a lot of weight with the rear facing seats on the cart and with the trailer carts axle so far back. Post the finished product and let me know if you have tongue weight issues.

The only golf carts I dislike are the ones driven children that go around and around and around and around.

If I have the choice, I would go to a park that does not allow them.

Children, golf carts, or both? ;-)

I think the golf carts are in bad taste (yeah, yeah, I know some people have a hard time getting around) and an indication of the degeneracy of our society. Other than that...

Golf carts. Golf carts used by disabled folks are O.K. as the disabled normally use them as tools to get from point "A" to point "B," not for entertainment.

Unlike many people, we actually enjoy the sound of children at play. (Even the "screamers," if it is not too much. ) Probably because we do not have grandkids.

Not to bad it will be for the lighter weight person. The cart itself weights nothing the brakes, motor, batteries basically everything stripped off. Got the full cart for free and got the saws all cut it in half. I took the batteries to a recycler so I'll end up making money on this project. Just the body to paint and I'll be done.

Golf carts

That's a nice carts you have puts mine to shame.. The place we go to is huge and they mostly are for fun people Have some crazy carts lots of money invested. That's all you you see that's how everyone gets around the huge park they have golf cart shows and parades we enjoy it and if you ask me it's a lot safe then people driving cars/trucks around with kids everywhere. And as for the music I agree I have a radio in mine but I'm not the ignorant one driving around with it on for everyone to hear . Also they need proof of insurance I have a motorcycle policy on mine full coverage for 95$ a year with progressive
