Good Sam

I have Good Sam Roadside Assistance that expires 3/25/2017. I get a notice that it is up for renewal or it expires 3/25/16. I make the phone call to check it out and their records show I am good until 3/25/2017. I asked the guy about this notice and he said that is the marketing dept. so I asked for the phone number. He don't have it and there is nothing he can do. This appears a way for Good Sam to scam money out of people that don't keep track of the expiration dates on the services, and that does happen.
It's all about the bucks no matter who gets screwed.

Sounds like an issue to thank "The Profit" for. After all, that is what it is all about.

I got the same notice to renew one earlier than necessary. "The Profit" strikes again!

Really is this worth getting all hot and bothered over. I get renewals on magazines all the time, many with years still on the subscription. I even get renewal notices for magazines I don't receive...go figure. Even more bothersome are the phone calls at all times of the day:"Hi Gary, remember me, we spoke some time ago about the work you wanted done on the house", and there are many variations on this call. And how about the phone call:" Mr Kalyn, I am not selling anything, I would just like your opinion on...." You can say "Please take me off the list" as many times as you want, it never seem to help. Oh yes, I was introduced to a seeming wonderful charity once during my travels (I still think it is a good charity), anyway I received a letter with return address labels that were very pretty. I sent then another $20. Nice me right. I now get return address labels from dozens of charities. I received no less than ten calendars for 2016. Apparently all these wonderful charities either share lists or use the same donation organization.
Anyway, enjoy life, stress less, and Happy Trails.

The only thing I don't like about GS is they always send out renewal notices way before they are due and send out way to many reminders. I have had excellent service when I needed them but wish they would stop with the junk mail.

Sounds like YOU are the one getting overstressed. As far a phone calls just don't answer them unless you know who is calling.
GS mailing out 6 letters to renew only fills my mail box with junk
