Good Sam and Coast To Coast Resorts
I have been out of the RV loop for about 25 years. Back then, I had a micro-mini motorhome and we had gone to several Coast To Coast presentations for their membership program.
Today, I received an email from Coast To Coast Resorts and their logo include the Good Sam smiley face. Are they now affiliated with Good Sam in some way now? Did Good Sam buy Coast To Coast?

Yep. Coast Resorts is now, "a part of the Good Sam family of companies." which also includes Camping world, RV.Net, Motor Home Magazine, Trailer Life, etc....:-)

This is news to me. Does this mean we can use coast to coast parks as well as Good Sams - which we use often? If so how do we go about this? Any information will be appreciated.

Sorry, but you still have to buy into C2C. That's not so bad, but you have to have a "home" resort to get into C2C. Those are usually quite expensive. I like using the coast parks, but the home resort membership was a rip-off that I regret getting into.

Well, thats not to surprising. We have toured a few around the country and to say they were nice would not be correct. We stayed at two different ones and were dismayed by the lack of care, oversite, upkeep etc.

When you pay your C2C membership, you also get the GS membership free.
We prepaid a 4 year membership to C2C for the price of 3.
GS parks only give 10% off.
PA gives 50% off
Both are owned by the same person.

We got talked into C to C a year ago while visiting Seattle Wash. - Lied to tons - told we could transfer home base to Texas - Nope - All the parks we stayed at we were put in the worst spot possible ( excet one) and none were 5 star. I called the main office several times and no satisfaction. I cancelled and now they want a Maint. fee for the campground in Seattle $150 extra - Not a chance - There was a class action law suit a few years ago that they lost - should be another !!!
