Good Sam Medical assistance for travelers

Just received an ad in the mail for Good Sam Worldwide Medical Assistance for Travelers for $89/year and was wondering if anyone has subscribed to this, and if so have you used it? If so has it been any better service than what I've read about GS Roadside Assistance Plans?

If it works as good as the ad shows it might be a good deal for aging RVers, but of course we all know nothing is as good as the ads show.

The two are totally different programs. One is for people, the other for RVs. The concept of the medical one is to assist in certain health emergencies, the road help one is to get your RV to safety in case of breakdown.

I realized that the road service was for RVs but I'd read in other posts that RVers weren't haveing very good service from it and was just wondering if GS was doing any better on the medical part. The ad I received allowed joining both Road Service and Medical at the same time but since I'm using Coach-Net I didn't need the Road Service part.

Just wondering about the service received with the Medical Assistance to Travelers.

I guess medical insurance (or about any kind of insurance) is kind of like a good firearm, it's feels comforting to have but you hope to never need to use it.

Maybe someone on the Forum has tried to use the medical travelers assistance insurance from GS so we can see how good it is.

We have the medical assistance and hope to never need it, but if anything happens to either one of us, it's good to know we will have assistance getting home and getting our MH home. We are not young anymore and you just never know what can happen. For less than $100.00 a year?? Absolutely. I know of folks who have it, but do not know of any who had to use it.
