Used it about a half dozen times and no complaints. This was in several different states and different times of the year.

Just saying they have bad reviews doesn't tell us much, could have been the tow company or whatever.

I've had no reason to call for just under 2 years now, but before that I had no issues, quite the contrary. Although I've only called twice in 12 years. Self insuring would have been cheaper.

You can have a bad experience with any of them. We have been with Good Sam since 2000 but will be changing to FMCA next time it comes up for renewal!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Why are you changing, price? I been thinking about it too since renewal is around the corner.

We have AAA so was cheaper to add RV to it. Don't know if Good Sam is good or bad, but I know AAA is good

A month ago we had to get our diesel pusher towed 52 miles to the nearest authorized Allison Transmission shop. I used my State Farm Roadside Assistance and the entire experience from the initial phone call to the completion of the tow was exceptional. It cost me about $1 per month for the insurance add on.

4 PM going to Grand Canyon----How about 8 hours on side of road after calling Good Sam, batteries dead due to flashers, cell batteries went dead, finally highway patrol contacted good sam and help arrived in 15 minutes. We were 25 miles out of Tucson, Az on interstate.
Complained to Good Sam, they gave me an addition 6 months of coverage.
Some comp???? , thanks to the highway patrol or we could have still been there
