Got a fireplace tongs?

For those who like a nice clean campsite but have difficulty bending, try to find a fireplace tongs at a flea market, garage sale, or rummage sale.
Usually quite cheap and works great for picking up around your site without having to touch unknown things with bare hands.
The next occupant of the site might/should appreciate your effort.
The tongs also come in handy if you have a campfire, by the way.

Good idea and nice to hear others are spending the time to make the campsite nicer.

You should put on an orange jump suit with INMATE written on the back and clean your own camp site.

Golly Geee NITHAWK

What kind of campsites do you choose to stay at ???

In 45 plus years of camping I've never arrived at a campsite that had trash laying anyplace.

Maybe at a truck stop now and then ??
When stopping for a few hrs layover.
Even Rest areas are well maintained and picked up.
In my opinion.

Now mind you we dont do the East or West coast much.

But even when we have its been clean and well maintained.

Would you please NAME THE FILTHY
CAMPGROUND 'S THAT YOUR REFERING TO.

So furum readers can Avoid such
Awful managment Practices.

Thank you

When 23 turned our S&B's fireplace from wood-burning to gas, I put the tongs in the coach. I've used the tongs to clean out the fire pit upon arrival. Why do people put beer cans in a fire pit?!?! I also have a small folding shovel to scoop the cigarette filters out of the ashes as well.
